Some POSITIVE News! AWAC Recalling...
 

Furloughed AWAC guy sitting next to me disappeared during ground school...apparently they've begun recalls. Any idea how many?

Recalling 6 on May 28th and another 6 on June 19th. Congrats guys!

Now that is some good news! About time something started to turn around nowadays.

it's not good news..they furloughed way too many guys to begin with! exspect many junior mans this summer, and then maybe adequate staffing levels this winter!! this airline sucks per usual!

So how many pilots has AWAC recalled at this point? If I remember reading it right I thought they were going to try to have at least 25 back by june 1st.

The latest seniority list that I have shows 57 pilots still on furlough. Glad to have you guys back, and I hope this trend continues.

How is it not good news? Would they not junior man without the recalls? :rolleyes: Lets keep it in persective...And frankly where else would you rather be flying a CRJ? Frankly I can think of a lot worse places to be.

Ground school....I thought you were at SKW?

I think it's up to 31 recalls by July 1st. I think there have been around 10 that have bypassed. The word from the recall classes is that they are stopping there at 31 until we weather the forecast downturn in flying this fall.

I remember hearing when we were furloughed that the pilots at the top of the list might get recalled in at least 6 months, but the folks at the bottom of the list would have to wait at least a year.

I also thought you were at SKW....
