How funny would it be if the video was recorded by Colgan MX trying to see what would happen to their modified "fix" to the wheel.

What a capture!

As interesting as it is to watch, whatever happened to turning electronic devices off prior to landing? Seems like people are always on there cell phone, or recording things during takeoff and landing...

WOW, Nice job keeping the camera steady while you soil your pants.

Superpilot92 05-14-2009 03:18 PM

they're lucky the other wheel stayed on

Seriously... think about the timing, airplane, company, and location of all this coming together. I feel like I'm in a bad movie.

Wow that's crazy

I've guess I've been saying Bombardier wrong allll this time! How come no one ever told me it was pronounced Bomb-a-deer??
ha ha...crazy video. I'm pretty sure I will think twice about getting on a Colgan flight from Newark to Buffalo.

Wow, excellent video quality. It might just be the vantage point, but the wheel looks like it was pointing left of center prior to touchdown. Looked to be really loose and just flew off. Glad the other wheel stayed on.

Ya know...all this time I thought the aircraft was called a Bombardier Q400 Turboprop, not a Q400 Bombardier Jet...and this is by a reporter from Canada, no less.
