Default Regional Airline Association Article

Here is a pretty good article about the regional industry from guys that make decisions about our companies. Particularly scope on page 14 is pretty important when you see the large RJs being built.

Also check out this weeks Aviation and Space Technology Weekly (May 18th issue). There is a great article about the Regionals. I couldn't find it on the web to share. I may try to type it verbatim. It had a lot of information about contracts between Majors/Regionals, how the future of these contracts may be negotiated, how the regionals are leasing companies and banks (RAH) etc. It did say Skywest and Republic are the strongest regionals right now. It also described how our companies’ hands are tied as far as schedules and minimizing cost since we are a pay for departure companies.

I didn't know the pillsbury doughboy was the RAA chairman. The former TSA baggage handler. That's all you need to know about the organization.
