sorry, guys, this can be deleted, theres already a thread on it in training, unless the regional guys would like to discuss it.

WOW!!!! I liked the comment about how it is a pitty that more training is not required to be a journalist.... 90% of the comments were from idiots who were clueless.......:D

It's not like foreign airlines hire Zero time people and put them in the right seat. The difference is that they have strict hiring practices. Where as here....you just need to "Show me the money!"

hehe.. I never thought about it before, but it sounds like flying on Gulfstream is like going to one of those salon academies for a haircut.

Too bad Gulfstream doesn't give a discount.

Except at the salon if the "student" screws up, your hair just grows back.

I saw a coupon in Flying magazine for Gulfstream. Bring in the coupon and redeem a high five and a RS gig.

I'm sure if i told the reporter this he would still put it the article....sigh

oh and I don't know what sarcasm is...

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the article refers to a general aviation midair collision. What is being trained at GTA have anything to do with that accident?

These pay-for-training scams guarantee one thing: You won't get the best pilots; just the richest ones.

You're absolutely correct  there was an aa pilot who couldn't figure out how to enter the hold because he was too slow to enter it in his fms. (it happened 2x) How pathetic is that sh*t?
