Kinda looks like a used car salesman not wanting to answer the question.

Glad to see the constant comparison to the experience, pay and professionalism level of the regional carriers vs. the mainline carriers. The hiring standards should be the same across the board in terms of pay, experience and professionalism and in the industry today they are not.

I think in the near future commuters are going to find many changes to their ability to commute. I think you will always be able to commute, but looking forward, the flexibility of your commute may be monitored and dictated by the FAA and your airline.

I am curious why in these hearings there aren't members of the actual pilot groups present to answer questions. Instead they take execs that were once pilots and ask them questions which results in a one sided answer to the people asking questions. Most often times answers that are misleading.

+1...good grief he looked like my 10 yr old trying to explain the cookie crumbs on his face while defiantly saying he didn't eat any cookies. They should have asked Trennary and Bowler if they would like to better compensate their pilots. And follow up with why they couldn't.

OMG Bowler would have choked if they had asked him that...lol:eek:

They would have managed to spit out they get compensated based on industry average.

He did say that, only his wording was (our pay is on par with our peers in the industry) or something to that effect. Him using the word Peers, was a dead giveaway that he was saying industry average, without actually saying it...:( (I'm pretty sure it was Trennary that said that)

It's funny you say that. Both Trenary and Bowler reminded me of this commercial:

YouTube - Carfax | "Car Fox"

"Carfax.... Carfox.... same thing... huh??" Major Airline... Regional Airline.... same thing... huh??
