That my Shlong is bigger than your!:D

My guess would be they're wondering why most employees really don't like working here. This, of course, being despite being 'simply the best.' It'll be one great big group hug....and a bunch of lip service on how things are improving. Or maybe the low moral is from the lack of quality leadership (could also be described as any leadership). We have the heavy-handed upper echelon in the brain-factory.....then, we move down the food chain to the middle managers who are simply the minions imposing the will of the brain trust.

But hey, what do I know. This is merely speculation......who knows, perhaps everyone at CJC is thrilled and enjoys working under poor work rules and payrates.

did you have anything productive to say about the topic of the tread at all?

newarkblows 08-10-2009 07:05 PM

sarcasm is too hard for people to understand apparently:rolleyes:.

The beatings continue until moral improves.

Go easy there big fella.......it's sarcasm. Besides, it just might be accurate. I know mgmt has asked the ALPA leadership what can be done to improve moral w/in the pilot group. Because it's pretty bad at the moment.....at least it is in EWR. Most pilots I've talked to don't have much faith in the 'leadership' around here.

I rarely agree w/ anything you say, but........exactly!

Are you referring to the Memphis relocation conference call?

I hear they will be giving free sunshine to some pilots today...YEAH! And we are all good enough, smart enough, and dog gone it, oh nevermind...

DMEarc 08-11-2009 06:31 AM

Leave it to Colgan to have a breaking news conference call, just to announce something that was already public knowledge.

The Juice 08-11-2009 06:36 AM

It is in response to the survey we took on safety and feelings about the company

Cruise 08-11-2009 06:41 AM

Wonder if 'ol George will be returning to EWR??? After all, when he was here last year...he stated he wouldn't return unless he was bringing better non-rev benefits. Yet another BS statement from the people who 'supposedly' have our best interest in mind.

FranksNBeans 08-11-2009 07:17 AM

NO, come back!

Too Tall 08-11-2009 07:01 PM

So, did anyone listen to the call? Was there any thing worth knowing about?

flyguyniner11 08-11-2009 08:10 PM

not really they talked some financials and about iah and the cal contract being renewed in jan but no information was given out about that; they said they just want to start doing these conference calls quarterly so no big announcements..

Too Tall 08-12-2009 06:22 AM

So they just talked about the CAL contract being up in JAN? Did say anything about it being re-newed?

flyguyniner11 08-12-2009 06:54 AM

Well they said they have a conferance coming up soon I think. So I guess they couldn't say one way or another. Now with Usair pulling their express operations out of Lga. Dunno what to think.

greaper007 08-12-2009 10:41 AM

I was a captain in IAD and quit in May and I've never been more happy in my life. Anyways, what's the new scuttlebutt besides this conference call, just curious?

deadstick35 08-12-2009 05:10 PM

I saw a job listing for a Colgan Chief Pilot in MEM.

Doogi 08-12-2009 06:07 PM

It's true! BH is going back to the line in EWR.

What??? I didn't know you bailed out! Good for you. Glad to hear you're happier now. Are you out of aviation completely or are you looking for something else?

Imagine you're seeing your family a lot more these days!
