The only way CZ could fly for another carrier is if they had planes to give them. DL's not letting those 175s go anywhere and the only other regional operator of 170/175s is RP/S5 and they own theirs. So, good luck with that theory.

Here's a couple totally unfounded rumors to start your wheels turning. Heard one about management coming to a pilot recurrent class and talking about an "outside" airline talking to Compass about lift. Another I heard is that Delta is planning to offer their pilots a 17% raise in return for giving up some scope and allowing compass to fly e-190s. Touch gloves and fight fair gentlemen...

Does anyone have a current timeline of the hiring process? How long to get a call to interview from application, how long until a class date? Just planning ahead in case I need to jump ship from my current ailing carrier.

If delta ALPA give up E190s the compass guys with flow will never see a delta seat. Hopefully this is a very bad rumor.

The e-190 2 class is standard at 94 seats. USAirways ran CRJ-900s in 90 seat coach configuration until just recently when they started adding 1st class in. So it wouldn't be that big of a stretch on what has already happened at previous airlines. Everybody says the major's aren't gonna cave on scope - i think history has shown otherwise.

You can always say "they caved before ergo they will cave now" but if that were as automatically true as you are trying to make it out to be, we would well past narrow body aircraft at mainlnes by now.
You are not getting E190s. At least not for the "Delta side".

Never said I wanted it to happen, just that I heard it. I think it would mean delta's not hiring anytime soon. Scope has been sold before so please don't blame us dirt poor regional guys for it. We'd rather be at a mainline carrier too, trust me.
