As long as there are legacy carriers painting their names across the fuselages of (historically) everything from twin otters to E-195s, for - in some cases 4 or 5 regional airlines at a time, while mainline pilots have been trying to squash them or at least limit their growth (like so-many cockroaches), you're right, the saga will continue.
Not so very long ago, there was a giant cargo company who's freight was flown by several small outfits all flying identical brown striped airplanes...I think it's called a single carrier petition. When we look the same, train the same, etc, the case can be made. It's a new day. |
