NEGO CMTE must go; MEM FO rep should go (going back on his word given in a road show is enough for me, not to mention not representing those he was elected to serve); We have a MEM CA rep to replace and a vice chairman to call up. I think that should about do it for the house cleaning. I for one hope SE remains.

MEMPHIS, TN--(Marketwire - September 24, 2009) - Pinnacle Airlines, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Pinnacle Airlines Corp. (NASDAQ: PNCL), and the Air Line Pilots Association, International (ALPA) announced today that the Pinnacle Pilots have voted against ratifying the agreement to amend the contract covering the Airline's 1,250 Pilots.
"We put a very generous deal on the table in keeping with our desire to fairly compensate our Pilots, and we were very optimistic when the contract was presented to our Pilots for a vote," said Philip H. Trenary, President and CEO of Pinnacle Airlines Corp. "The National Mediation Board (NMB) will decide the next steps and we are hopeful that we can achieve a swift resolution."
"We felt that the improvements in compensation, benefits and work rules agreed upon by the Airline and the Pilot negotiating committee are industry competitive, so we are very disappointed that the tentative agreement was not approved by the Pilots," said Clive Seal, President and General Manager of Pinnacle Airlines, Inc.

Good job 9E, way to show them that you aren't industry average pilots, you deserve much better then what they offered.

I just hope they fix it quick...if not, then I hope the NMB releases us once and for all...instead of re-writing the regs and duty times at the FAA, the government could instead pretty much fix everything wrong with the industry by putting airlines under the NLRB instead of the worthless, spineless, dysfunctional NMB...if there is any more poignant example of how worthless the current RLA-ALPA-NMB system is (even with a Democratic majority), you're looking at it here--4-5 years of negotiations culminating in a TA that can't even pass a simple majority...it's just ridiculous when you think about it....ridiculous...

Congrads guys for voting it down.
As others have written, there needs to be new faces at the table. The previous folks might be great, but they now lack credibility.
Wasn't there talk that this deal was outside what the negotiating committee was directed to negotiate anyway? With all this talk of minimum standards for DCI contracts coming down, what's the hurry?
For starters, now is a terrible time to be negotiating a contract. We still have Republicans running the NMB, the economy is in the crapper and carriers are decreasing block hours. Time will work in your favor as we work our way out of this recession and things start to look up.
