If one of them (looks like Saturday instead of Monday.) I am looking for the other that ran this week. It spoke clearly of a "team" of managers from ExpressJet that are over in China working to close a deal similar to or competing with Mesa's plan I assume. If I find it, I'll post it...I know I read it somewhere just the other day.

Appreciate the link.

Hopefully XJ can get their act together. It's horrible how the legacy carriers are dragging the regional guys down with their junk.

From the article posted above:

Ream said he is optimistic that ExpressJet will be able to deploy the aircraft successfully.

"We feel that there's a reasonable chance that we can come out as a stronger organization as a result of Continental's decision," Ream said.

Classic CEO comments. I sure hope he does have something, if not, he and a few other people will be out of jobs.

Having worked at ExJet and now CAL, we dispatchers are in the middle between managers and pilots (we do take the written ATP and many of us having private pilot license). We see and hear managers on a daily basis since their offices are next to SOCC and/ or one floor above.

The overseas flying is a strong option and ExJet has been approached by at least one other carrier to do flying for them.

BTW, ExJet SOCC is one floor below CAL SOCC in the downtown Continental building...
