I am looking to purchase the newly released "Air" version which is advertised as 4 lbs. lighter than the original, and debating on whether or not to get the standard version with the side pockets or without the side pockets.

Stealth Air w/o Side Pockets

Stealth Air With Side Pockets

I think the single, long side pocket that runs the length of the bag would be nearly useless for me. So, I am curious for those of you that have this bag........do you actually use that long side pocket? and if yes, what do you usually pack in there?

I duno'.......the pocket-less version just looks cleaner more streamlined to me.

side pocket is good if you need an umbrella, think about this.

I keep my shoe polish and buffing brush in it.

Exactly. That's where my umbrella is.

Coincidence, mine too. As well as some other things that are nice to have quick access too. And the key clip in there is nice also.

The other side with the 3/4 length side pocket holds my work out clothes.

My full length side pocket has a broken zipper and stopover store can't fix it... I'd have to carry some nasty loaner bag for 2 weeks to get mine back.

I've had a luggage works for close to ten years, sent it back to get repaired. $100 and I got a brand new bag back. They replaced the "bag" and used my hardware. Can't beat a warranty like that anywhere!!!

LW +1. Built like a tank, heavy like one too unfortunately.

Which aerocoast cooler? The one with the separate computer pouch or the tall one with the integrated computer compartment on the back?

Anyone have their Pro Crew I flight bag?
