You can only stow it up front on a few planes and only some of the time. It just doesn't fit on most DL overhead bins at least. Totally, radically, unacceptably unsat. To get one of the most basic metrics that wrong and focus almost exclusively on some esoteric concept like "the 737 jumpseat" was rediculous. Most of the time you're lucky, and I mean lucky, to find space wheels first/last anyway. Maybe, just maybe, you can turn it sideways and chock block some other poor sap out of his/her bag space. There is simply no reason for the dimensions to be what they are. Got R&D?

Huge, epic, flat spin fail.

I have the LW 22" stealth w/stabilizer strap, and everything stays in place, so you're not bowling the calves of people in the airport while doing the 600 yd. sprint.

Did luggage works stop making metal framed bags? I ordered the PNT 22 computer one and it is basically a fabric frame all around or did these never have metal on all sides like the strong bags do? I was under the impression that they were built very similar. Definitely will be returning this because for $300 there is no way this will last more than a year.

Pretty sure thats the exact same thing I ordered. Same item description and everything. I thought the sides were made of metal on these bags too but I guess I was wrong.

Question for the guys/gals that use the Luggage Works Stealth 22"

I am looking to purchase the newly released "Air" version which is advertised as 4 lbs. lighter than the original, and debating on whether or not to get the standard version with the side pockets or without the side pockets.

Stealth Air w/o Side Pockets

Stealth Air With Side Pockets

I think the single, long side pocket that runs the length of the bag would be nearly useless for me. So, I am curious for those of you that have this bag........do you actually use that long side pocket? and if yes, what do you usually pack in there?

I duno'.......the pocket-less version just looks cleaner more streamlined to me.

I put my underwear and socks in that pocket. Works great. I have an older bag, but same concept.

Default Same use the sides for dirty clothes

I use one side for dirty clothes & the other for clean tshirts, socks and underwire so I dont have to dig in my bag to much on a short layover/quick turn. This works pretty well but I am not impressed with the side pocket zipper quality had to replace the 2X. Considering going to another luggage repair and have them install a good metal zipper. I think this would make the bag totally bulletproof. Had more for going on 20 years & have just sent it back for all the zippers failing.
