A flight attendant friend of mine that was standing out front of the terminal at LAX last night at 8:10 PM said she saw a Korean air 747 do a go around. As the 747 accelerated and climbed out an a320 was just begining their initial climb and the 747 had caught up to them and was right above them, she said everyone stopped and gasped. Other then passur's website I could not find any information regarding this incident, she said it looked extremely close.

So, I guess this means that the A320 is a lot for those Northwest guys to handle?

Actually, there is. Midwest Express is the mainline carrier, Midwest Connect is the regional carrier. I think what you meant to say was "there's nothing Connect about a 100 seat airplane."

Nope. Apparently it was the new bidding system that was a lot for them to handle.:p

BTW, instead of everyone making a bunch of smart remarks how about we just be greatful that NO ONE was hurt. That is the MOST important point! Good job getting it stopped guys, and remember to always look left and right before crossing. Stay safe out there guys.

Actually, the "Express" part was dropped....what.....2-3 years ago?
It's been Midwest Airlines for quite a while now.
