DC is super pricey. Chances of finding something cheap enough there would be slim to none. You could look around CHO and SHD as well. Both of those cities are far enough away from DC that they are cheaper and both have flights outta IAD and both are about a 1.5 hour drive from IAD.

I bought one off a fellow pilot. My advice would be to try and network with other pilots/employees and see if anyone out there is selling one. I think Cash for Clunkers took many of the more affordable cars off the road.
