Part of me was hoping it was a stunt pulled by some TSA agent to make sure the pilot did the security checks, so the agent would end up in a world of doo-doo.

Are you kidding, he would get a promoted. Lets not forget what happened in ORD with the Eagle flights.

I have never seen a real bomb and I have never been told what to look for other than something suspicious. I saw a box with wires on it in a movie once. So am I supposed to base my suspicions on a movie prop? Most of the time in a movie the wire and box combination is created for dramatic effect since an enclosed box that blows up is boring. I just think they blow things out of proportion sometimes with suspicious boxes.

Look for a black ball with a fuse sticking out of the top and the word "ACME" on th side.

Any questions, contact one Wile E. Coyote.............

Yeah, that and a black box with a wire running from it, outside the aircraft and behind the terminal. This wire will most likely be attached to a box with a push rod on top labeled TNT. I'll be on the look out!

Just heard on my commute flight up to JFK it was one of our 70 seaters (Comair). One of the flight attendents found it somewhere in the cabin. I bet it was a TSA prank and they do not want to admit it.
