RAH classes?
Has there been any classes at Rep/CHQ/S5 lately? The last class I heard was 5/30/06.

I talked to someone who was at FSI in STL and said a small class of 4 is going through right now and a larger Republic class is going on July 26. Hopefully that will get the pool moving.

Anyone know how deep the pool is? I heard it's shallow, but how long have YOU been treading in it? Anyone more than 2 months?

I interviewed 6/14, there were interviews on 6/15...I believe there were some in late May as well. Interviews either this week or next are scheduled.

talked to LB few days ago and asked about the pool and future classes. There is a July 26th Republic class already filled. She said the pool is getting deeper b/c the last few classes have been very small. But, she expects things to pick up soon.
2 of my buddies at TSA interviewed on 7/11, 12th. 10 people in the 7/11 interview with 3 TSA guys. 3 more TSAers on the 12th. Back in my June interview 3 TSA pilots again. It seems like there are a few TSA furlough/active pilots in every interview... they must like ex-tsaers. |
It seemed a lot of people they have been hiring were 121 people. A lot of ex-Mesaba people are there.

I interviewed on June 14 and got the pool letter. I'm an ex-TSAer so maybe that helped. Probably be alot more of us on the market soon. Hopin' for August I guess. Good luck!

good call...I know there is class at the end of July. Any one get called for it and when was your interview date?

How many of you had to do the sim? I heard it was random, and some current 121 pilots are having to do it.

Anybody know if they expect you to have an ATP written before you interview? Also anyone heard anything about upcoming interviews? Just put my stuff in 7/16.

I was 121 and had to do the sim as did the other 121 person who interviewed (mid-May interview, May 30th class date). You have to have the ATP written to interview for the 170. Supposedly not for the 145.

I dont think you need the ATP written. I know several of my buddies currently flying the 170 with no atp written.

$22/hr.....gonna fly a 70 seat for that.....thanks guys....you can make more flying a 37 seat TP......don't do it

Interviewed June 15th, Got the call today (July 21st) for a July 31st E170 in St. Louis for Republic. Anybody Else?

Class Date
Handed in my application on June 14th. Got a call in a week for the July 12th interview. Got a letter about a week ago saying I was in the pool. Got a call yesterday (7/21) for a 145 class on Aug. 3rd.!!!

Grats to all you folks. I've been sending them resume's for a few months and haven't heard a peep back yet. Seems so... random. <shrug>

Got the call Friday. Chautauqua. Aug 3. 145. Interviewed June 14. Guess they got the Continental deal.

30 175 coming for '07 and '08...150 RAH pilots and at most 150 J4J (if it gets passed over by them, it's a street seat) guys....Game on!!

They are getting 44 new aircraft and they are goin to fly as CONTINENTAL EXPRESS...

Of those 44 aircraft this is how it will pan out: 20 of the current fleet used under u.s. airways will be relocated to fly the continental routes. To replace those 20 airplanes they will be getting 30 EMB 175's. 10 extra if needed. The remaining 24 will be from somewhere i don't know. I've heard xr's but not sure.
