Who has more money, NBAA or ATA?

If you break it down by member companies, definitely NBAA.

If you break it down by lobbying dollars (and the effectiveness of that lobbying), ATA hands-down.

Thankfully, NBAA and its members (but more importantly, AOPA) were able to kill user fees from the FAA budget *and* stop the LASP proposal.

I was impressed that they pulled it off once, but I suspect it's only a holding action. I don't think the gubmint is going to leave that much easy money on the table forever.

 I was being sarcastic.

Had I been more literal, the sentence would have read, "Ironic, isn't it?"

Just so that you're clear, there are no "regional" FAR 121 rules. You're either 121 or not.

The easiest is FAR 121 supplemental. You always need an alternate unless your dispatching using "island reserves".
