why would you ever want to put something into your log book that would make the interviewers question your time?

if you ever logged PIC with dual rec'd, (like most people except UND do) the airlines don't want that time counted as "PIC". But most people log it that way.

Therefore, your PIC reported on the application and PIC in your logbook would differ by a couple hundred hours.

FYI.

because people think logging 10-15 hours of "PIC" time while in the right seat of an RJ will get them to a major quicker. It's just dumb. I honestly can't believe anyone would be stupid enough to do it, oh well.

To clarify my previous post, logging a few hours of PIC that are really hard to explain is not going to be in your best interest. I wasn't recommending it, just addressing the technical legality (under 91).
