International jumpseat on your own airline?
Does anyone know if you are allowed to occupy a cockpit jumpseat on your own airline on an international flight? I'm trying to get to get to Canada, and the flight looks like it might be full...
I can't seem to find a reference to it anywhere. Thanks |
ASA - Ride it both ways up front... on the way back to the US you have to call the OCC to get them to list you on there first. Jumpseating internationally and trying to list for the JS outside of the US all depends on the gate agent.

Thanks. We'll see how it goes in the morning.

At Mesaba we can't at all... Nobody allowed for any reason if it's intl.

Pinnacle allows it for their own crew, and I know NW pilots and FA's used to jumpseat all the time overseas.. usually utilizing the extra crew bunks..
|
awac not allowed unless on company business.

Have yet to try it on TSA... I imagine it would be a cluster....
