I think its several things. First its probably due in part to them not having enough people to fill the classes like they would like. Second eagle is having issues accomodating the large class sizes (I.e. sim time and instructors) it is getting better but like anything else it will take time. The numbers I heard were a total of about 700 this year and 750-850 next year as well. As with anything in this industry these numbers could change at a moment's notice.

You on the line yet?

American buying Eagle's aircraft - Dallas Business Journal

I CAN NOT BELIEVE, Journalists get paid to write stuff like this. They took no time to actually RESEARCH what they were writing.

I miss those big 1,200$ AVG every 2 weeks!!!!!! :(

Yea try waiting several weeks just for loft. But yes the time off is nice. Nothing like keeping the per diem as long as possible.

I picked up 15 hours of OT in July, with like 400 hours of per diem,, when I got my check at the end of Aug I almost had a heart attack. By far the best check I have ever gotten since I became a pilot for hire.

Hey J3, did you do your probi ride yet? Is it at 9 months or 12, I thought it was 9 but someone the other day was CONVINCED it was 12.

Da Magic 09-02-2011 06:25 PM

9 months unless things have changed. That's because you get off probation at 12 months and brings the union protections with it.

Between 9 and 12....bet on the 12

Is not 12 for sure, I'm having mine this month. So is at the 10th month after you start class.

Well I don't do OT is not worth it for me, since I commute to other place to see my girlfriend.

But I've made a couple of $1,800 checks at the end of may and july. But I'm not working a lot this month, because I want to study hard for that probie ride. Being a bit senior in ORD RSV is good. I haven't worked the last two days with RAP 2. :)
