I would also disagree with Friday but things are moving along well at this point. Next week is the last of the initially scheduled negotiations and we will see where we stand at that point.

yeah i was looking at my calander wrong. next week is the end of negotiations. all i have heard from the reps are good things. hopefully we will know something by then.

It's all talk and politics (which I refuse to play b/c I can't keep more than one story straight and am far from smart enough to make up a story without holes in it). I would expect bases to each get LEC updates in the next few days if you haven't already received one -MEM is a work in progress since all 3 of us have been flying all week and been busy with an abundance of meetings- next week is the final planned week with the big ticket items to be discussed. There will be a NC update after next week regardless. At this point each "big ticket" item links to another and the question of "what is big ticket" is the same stuff that each pilot complained about 6 months ago. Obviously there are subgroups up and down that had their complaints and concerns. With the NMB dealings the company knows where we stand and where the issues are- the question is "will the company play ball as they have claimed they will"? The NMB has had a change since our point 9 months ago (our quick response and getting the terms we specifically asked for should tickle your skepticism) and the company thus far has said they want and need this done. The CEO said "We fixed it", this next week should define the company's use of the word "it".

None of this should be new to any PCL pilot, especially in MEM- we have worked very hard to put out every bit of info up to the actual proposal since we don't want to set an expectation that becomes concrete instead of getting an overall deal that treats every seniority number as a pilot and person instead of simply "meat in the seat".

If you are a PCL pilot and are angry, confused, concerned, or simply feel you don't know what's going on- EMAIL A REP! I heard some juicy (false) rumors this week that would have kept some blood pressures down with a quick email/text/phone call.

Here's one I heard today from the famous "very good source"....Meetings between Union and Company only are done/close to it and next week, the lawyers get involved. Does this mean they will be working on final language items of a TA? or that they will join in on negot.'s? or is this even true? How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop?
