Chautauqua and STL

Yesterday from the TSA crewroom, we watched American Connection get a water canon salute from the airport fire department as operations wound down.

What does this mean for Chautauqua? Is the STL crewbase closing or shrinking? Is STL going to be an outstation base for ORD flying? I've asked a few employees and couldn't get a clear answer.

Either way, good luck to everyone.

I was told by a friend who is a STL based CA that they are shrinking to around 15 crews. Everyone else is being displaced elsewhere.

as far as I was told STL is closing as a base and increasing flying out of ord and added a few other new bases.

not closing yet...shrinking and will continue to fly some Delta and continental trips, all the AAC flying will be out of ORD.

From the few buddies at CHQ I have it sounds like the CHQ STL base will be similar to any other outstation base...for TSA folk think RIC.

RAH is too cheap to wash their aircraft. The STL fire dept. felt sorry for them and was trying to help out.
