Skywest Group Interview
 

I am considering attending the Skywest Group interview next week in Memphis. Does anyone have any experience/knowledge about these events??? Can one expect to leave the group interview with a class date?

These group interviews are SW's way of weeding out the unqualified very quickly.
Expect a mechanical aptitude test as well as an ATP 50 question test. They will take your resume and test results and if you meet the mins and did not stand out by having a "172 sky-god" attitude, you can expect an invite to an interview in SLC within a week..maybe two. No class dates have been ever given out (as far as I know) without a trip to SLC for a sim check and formal interview.

Yeah, that might be good for me then. I am sitting on 1001 hours, so it might be a good thing to show up and hint that Im not a total jerk. I guess I need all the help I can get.

You need to go. I am in class now because of the interviews and I only had 1020 hrs. Many people in the classes went to the group interviews. If alot of people are there you wont take the tests, but you need to be sure you are ready to in cause the numbers are few. Make sure you have the mins. People do get sent home because they think sim hours count. No, they don't. They wont batt an eye. Good luck.

Trout - which a/c and where are you gonna be based???

I saw on the Skywest website that memphis is the last group interview date scheduled, does anyone know how often they set new dates, and is there anymore potential ones they are planning as of now? Thanks-
