Default Work for CRJ pilots

Anyone facing an uncertain future? O.K. that's all of us, but anyone really looking at tough times (maybe masaba guys) there is hope. CRJ's are just starting to take off (no punn intended) in several foriegn countries.

Recent post for jobs in Japan and China through Hawaiin Crew Staffers and the company Avionco for India. It's contract work with great pay and benefits, the downside is that it is contract work, with no guarantees that the contract will be long term. Avionco.com also check out Avianation.com

Bonne Chance'

If you are 121 rated on the CRJ, Skywest will probably hire you very quickly. Get some sim prep for the interview though.

Rick,
I posted it for those who just can't stomach starting over at 19,000. The asia jobs pay 4 to 5 times that much.

Just throwing that out, not intended as a counter-point. Some folks wouldn't want to move to china, while others wouldn't want to the first year payscale at SKW.

You could probably buy a luxury apartment with a personal chauffeur in China for 19,000 I've been to japan many times and eventhough it's expensive, U.S standards, it really is a great place to be and a short term contract is definitely duable.
