NO Utah does not allow it. In fact I bet Utah cracks down on it more than any other state.

Ok, so I stand corrected AGAIN! Being from the East Coast, I'm not familiar with laws in other parts of the country...

You people are rediculous. Are you actually males posting this stuff? Yeah her hubby was a jerk, according to her, but someday it is going to be you on the line with an angry wife. For whatever reason, chances are she is going to leave you. I hope you remember your advice to this woman when it is your nuts on the chopping block. I can't believe you would all recommend ways to screw him without first hearing his side of the argument. Women do lie you know, they love to play the sympathy card. Who knows if this is even real. It amazes me that so many men are willing to knee jerk react to come to the aid of cupcake, when you have no idea of what or who this woman is.

And how do you propose we hear his side of the story? Bottom line is, she can be lying, faking it, or just flame baiting people. But let's for a minute assume she's telling the truth and her side of the story is in fact true. Now what? What would you tell her to do then?

I would tell her to get a lawyer and divorce him. I would not help her scheme up new ways to screw him over, that is what the Lifetime network is for. Men get screwed in divorce court, I truly doubt she will need your help in taking him to the cleaners.

I don't know where you're getting this idea that I'm "helping" this poor woman. Again, if she's telling the truth, then this guy is a real POS and need to get his ass reamed. I don't care if you get thrown out into the streets. Nobody forced him to marry a second wife while still married to his first. So unless this guy is in some state in this country that condones this, he deserves to get financially raped for putting this poor woman, her friends, and her family through such horrific situation. If you have a problem with the way divorce court and divorce law works in this country, I suggest you write to your congressman.

Pinnacle "Code of Conduct", OK everybody stop laughing.

Suggestions:

1. Sell the story as a Made for TV Movie.

2 Go after both of their medicals:
Call OK City and report the situation. Much overlooked clause on the Medical the Morals Clause. Can not work without a medical - that would be both of them.

No, what he deserves is to get divorced. I was just commenting on the fact that so many people jump on the "hang the bastard" bandwagon, just on the say of a woman. If she is smart enough to get on here and ask a question, then she is smart enough to find a lawyer. Her initial question was how to screw this guy over with his employer. She doesn't want to wait and take it through the courts, she wants to ruin this guy's reputation at work and hopes to have him fired. Bigamy is illegal, if he is guilty then the courts will take care of him. I just hope it is never you with some irrational woman hell bent on destroying you. Men are convicted on a womans say every day. For all you know she could be lying. She could be a mentally abusive witch who drove him to do something irrational. She could be a stalker who wants to know how to get into the Pinnacle system to screw with this guy. It is dissapointing to me that men refuse to stand up for each other. One woman cying foul and we are off to lynch the bastard. Whether we know he was wrong or not.

As far as your two quotes above, why does he owe her financially? We are in the age of equality, where women earn just as much as men. Why is it that we have to compete with women for jobs but the court still sees them as helpless victims in need of our alimony. If you are in a two income home, why is it assumed the man is financially responsible for the woman. Alimony is a leftover from a bygone era when women were unable to earn like men. Now they can, and we compete with them for the best jobs. I truly hope none of you learn about the injustices of the divorce racket from firsthand experience. It may change your worldview. I also question the two references to rape. Why is it funny for a man to get assraped? Why is it acceptable to joke about men getting violated? Why as men are we willing to stand by and laugh at other men being horribly abused? I guess as long as it is those horrible "bad guy's" and not us. Just curious.

Also Ninja, I am not attacking you personally, this thread just brought up some things I wanted to address.

I think the good moral character clause is normally applied to overt criminal activity...if it is applied at all anymore. There are other, more precise, federal requirements re. criminal history that are apllied to airline pilots. I don't think OKC wants to be involved in moral judging, they would just get sued, and probably lose.

I smell flamebait. First of all, who uses their real name as their handle on a forum? Second, "she" started this post and then we haven't heard a peep from "her". Third, when this situation happens, whos first thought is "how can I screw my spouse through his/her company"? If anything, the "victim" in this situation should be hoping for a raise/promotion so they can get a bigger slice of pie. Like I said, I smell something burning...
