It says in the article 60 coach, 10 biz class.

My question is why not just fly a 700 if your not going to fly the damn thing to capacity? which mesa flys at 88 I believe.

Mesa does 86 coach. I think the idea with the 900 was to fit more biz class seats. I doubt that a 900 is much more expensive than a 700, I'm sure a few more premium seats can cover the cost difference.

I'm sure that they will have close to 90 seats in them before the end of the decade. Just wait until oil gets close to $100 a barrell and the higher ups will be looking for more scope concessions. Shame on them the first time they screw you, shame on you the second time.

F airline management, and F the career. Anybody know the phone number of that truck diving school, Truckmasters, I think?

Even better than the payrates, SkyWest is using an online home study course for the 900 differences training -- WHICH IS UNPAID! Management expects you to do it for free on your time off.
Is that 700 to 900 differences? There almost none other than a few size, weight & performance numbers that would fit on one index card.

200 to 900...that is a significant jump that should have a live class with a teacher who has flown both. Land a 900 like like a 200 and you will probably break it the first time...

Haven't you guys heard? Airline profits are a sure warning sign that wages must 'migrate to market'. At least that's the chickensh*t phrasing Horizon's management monkeys use for 'pay cut to excessive profitability'. Oh, but 'thanks for being values members of the team!'

Any Qx'ers on this board had better start a little strike fund...

Hey Fokker, how are the contract talks going over there? Sounds like not so hot. It must be rediculously aggravating to have a profitable company come dipping into your pocket.

Glad to hear the ruffles of discontent at SW. As an ASA pilot who is being hurt by Jerry (Lorenzo) Atkins decisions, it warms my heart to hear that some of you guys are not to please with some of his decisions.
I hope your union vote passes.
Sincerely,
St
