Pay scales
 
Quick question, on the page with the pay scales.

The years are your time with the company, correct?

Meaning that if you start out as an FO and upgrade in year 5 you would get year 5 CA pay? Or do you have to start at the bottom of the CA pay scale at year 1?

In the US, it is essentially always years with the company.

Overseas, many airlines start you at the bottom of the CA scale.

As he said, essentially always Years of service in the US. There are a few companies in the US that you start at year 1 again when you upgrade, but I think you can count all of them on one hand. I believe Ryan is one of them, and I think Commutair did it at one time, though I don't know if they still do.

This site usual lists that information below the payscale, if applicable.
