Can you be specific as to what you are looking for?

Matches, contributions up to what limit, vestments, etc.

You can contribute the max according to law ($16,500 for 2010 for those under 50). The match is insignificant. If you put in the maximum amount every pay check you'd get about $20 a month in matching funds. Your own contributions are of course vested immediately. The company contributions I think take 5 years to vest. That's a long time to wait for $20.

Its a joke.

6 months – 5 years - company match 25% of 5%
6 – 9 years 40% of 6%
10 – 12 years 60% of 7%
13 years or more 70% of 7%

Fully vested after 5 yrs.

Only good thing is the Fidelity Spartan Index funds. Then there is the brokerage link for all those who 'think' they can beat the market...

Thanks, I figured mesabas was much better, and this only confirms it. Is this what you are currently asking for in the contract talks as well?

XJ does have a better 401K. We do have the brokerage link option which allows you to buy any stock/etf/mutual fund with the exception of PNCL. We are not Safe Harbor but it is a goal. Currently you cannot max out the 401K without a check back the following January due to the Highly Compensated Employee language.

In terms of benes- 9E has the insurance, XJ has the 401K.
