Default us air money to air whiskey?

heard rumors that us air might sell piedmont and psa to air whiskey because they owe them money next year. Also, if air whiskey doesnt except, mesa buys both for money for payment! We know mesa is bankrupt, but coming out, and streamlined, with new investors, it could happen. I love rumors

us air likes to give up assets rather than cash if they owe you, just look at all the stuff they have given to republic. gates, airplanes...

Like if AWAC doesn't make an exception in their strategy of growth and acquisition?

All it takes is a quick glance at the Q&A section of myairwis.com, and it'll become abundantly clear why AWAC will not aquire anybody. For those of you without access, it's basically the same answer to every question, due to our excessive labor costs....we were unable to secure added flying, or whatever else they're trying to answer. Since our contract requires that anybody bought by AWAC will operate on our contract, they refuse to do it. Or so they tell us, however, I find it very hard to believe that our labor costs are "prohibitive" when I take a look at my paycheck

ya, if they dont want psa and piedmont, and would rather have the cash which would be from the mesa investors. Either way, it was interesting.

I'm sure it will be the carrot they dangle in our faces when they start meeting for negotiations...Guys all you have to do is take a 50% pay cut, agree to a minimum of 6 days off a month, add various other productivity increases, and this flying could be ours.

Or you could all just go to airways/delta/blue... When they all start hiring in less than a year. 2012 is closer than you think. Personally I can't wait for the age 65 guys to move on.

yep, that would be great, and we can all live happily ever after. But just in case the recession continues, the thousands of furloughs dont come back, or our app doesnt get picked up among the tens of thousands of apps at all the majors, and so on.
