Sorry to hear the bad news for the guys over at Lynx. Hopefully everybody does alright in the end.

As a RAH pilot, I could care less about the addition or subtraction of a single destination.

I'm tired of the LYNX sob stories.. the reality is that people were booking away from your beloved Q400 and booking on an RJ. And while I'm at, where do you guys get off thinking that you deserve anything other than a staple to the bottom. Probably 90% of the people at RAH have been on the list since before LYNX even existed. Not to mention that LYNX has brought absolutely nothing to the table.

I will admit that it does make you sound pretty hip and trendy.

I have not firm stance on the MidEx guys. The reality now is that they too have brought absolutely nothing to the table.

And that is why everyone hates your pilot group, because of people like you acting like a child, that selfish, no respect for anyone type of attitude. Have fun flying your mainline regional jet.

the guys at lynx arent the problem... be ****ed at your management. You have a 100 seat airplane running around with pilots in the front who make less then a bus driver. Your company has also furloughed every midwest pilot and your pilot union is dragging their feet integrating the list. This industry is all about luck and you could have very easily been one of the midwest guys.

Yeah I second Delta Alpha. Horizon is going all Q400 and they are making more money than RAH explain that.

You know, 90% of statistics are made up on the spot 78% of the time.

Remember when most of you wouldn't even consider Lynx when they started up because they were requiring 7,000 total time? Even in the last year they were still hiring people with 3-5,000 hours total time and no one less than 1,000. For most Lynx was a second, third, or even fourth airline. For those that it was first, most had come from the corporate or fractional world.
Everyone hired at Lynx had already paid their dues, we took the gamble on a start up to live and work out of Denver. We lost. Either way, to say we only deserve a staple because we had only been in the game three years is more than a kick in the balls. It's an outrageous shallow insult to the years of experience of the Lynx pilot workgroup. **** YOU!!

Perhaps it is my massive $37k/year salary that makes me spoiled. I too hope that aviation is not in my future, but for now it is the path of least resistance. If I got furloughed tomorrow, I wouldn't shed a tear.
