XJT recalling 48 furloughed pilots....
 

Just announced by our MEC. A step in the right direction, and I am happy for our returning pilots, but they are not coming back to the same company they left a couple of years ago.

That is great news. Good luck. How many does that leave out on the streets?

It will mean 187 still on the street, and 160 total recalls.

Maybe the recalls can come straight back to ASA, we're short these days!

Good for them. Furloughs will most likely be stapled to the new list.

Call them the lucky 48, they will most likely avoid being stapled to the new Atlantic Southeast SL.

Well one thing is that since this will probably go down as a relative seniority merger those on furlough won't really be affected if they're stapled. They'll be at the bottom no matter what.
