Republic CEO To Appear On 'Undercover Boss'

Bryan Bedford, the chief executive officer of Indianapolis-based Republic Airways Holdings will be one of the CEOs to appear on this season's 'Undercover Boss' television show. An airdate for the episode featuring Bryan Bedford has not been announced.

UNDERCOVER BOSS was the Emmy-nominated #1 new series of the 2009-2010 season, averaging 17.7 million viewers. UNDERCOVER BOSS premiered following the Super Bowl this year and had 38.7 million viewers, the largest audience for a new series following the Super Bowl.

Each week, UNDERCOVER BOSS follows a different executive as they leave the comfort of their corner office for an undercover mission to examine the inner workings of their companies. While working alongside their employees, they see the effects that their decisions have on others, where the problems lie within their organizations and get an up-close look at both the good and the bad while discovering the unsung heroes who make their companies run.

he is gonna cry when he hears how much **** people talk about him.

Of course none of the bad crap will be put on air...I'd love to see him talk to the pilot group to get their opinions. I'm sure it'll be a ramper, maybe some gate agents.

Looks like RAH may be needing some cash.

they wont air anything with pilots in it.

ExperimentalAB 09-20-2010 05:15 PM

And the rampers don't care enough to know who Bedford is anyway...

From what I've heard there is no mention of republic's "fee for departure stuff," it's all Frontier airlines. I personally see this as a very smart move. That show last year had some of the top ratings and will probably continue to be successful. It's free press, good or bad and it's will be nice to see another airline on tv other than southwest.

Exactly. This is nothing but a move to put the branded side out there.

CEO of the new 99 Seat Airline! Nice job BB. You win again. Pilots take it up the back end again.
