Walking in a Resume? (at ASA)
I work at ASA and a friend of mine asked me to walk in a resume... I'm more than happy to do it, but I'm just not quite sure who to hand it to.
I doubt a chief pilot is the right answer. I can't see them doing anything with it. Is SH the right person to deal with a resume? Also, should I pass along a personal letter of recommendation with it? |
I would say the Senior HR person would be who you would want to give it to, or one of the recruiters. The CP might be too busy to be reviewing resumes, but you never know. I would say write a letter of recommendation for sure. It sounds like most of the hiring that is going on right now is highly based on current employees recommendations.

If you don't know that person, well... then you've been living under a rock (pm me if that's the case). As for the letter or recommendation, it needs to be done through airline apps. Have them add your name and e-mail address to recommendation and you'll receive an e-mail on the instructions. |
