121 Paperwork Requirements

Just curious, how does your company comply with the reg that says you have to keep all the flight/dispatch paperwork on file for 90 days?

Current company we hand it out the window to the gate agents and they file it plus the pilots have to collect everything for a trip into an envelope and turn it in at the end of the trip.

Former company, we handed it out the window, it was filed away, and that was it...pilots didn't have to collect a bunch of stuff.

How is it done at other companies? Also, anybody know the reg that says 121 carriers have to do this? My company's FOM cites the wrong FAR. Not surprising since half the words in our manuals are misspelled too.

Once I hand the paperwork out the hatch I never see it again, nor do I want to see it again
