ExpressJet Class 9/11/06
 

Is anyone in here going to be in the XJT class on sept 11? I was hired on monday and was told I was going to be in the 11th or 18th class. Just wanted to get in contact with other new hires.

just curious, what kinda times do you have? tt, multi, multi in past 6 mos., instrument, etc... Just applied and would like to see what there really looking for. thanks

Hi first best of luck with your interview... The interview I went to on monday 14th had 30 people in the morning session and another 30 or so in the afternoon. Out of our 30, about 15 were hired I think.
My times are 720 tt, 110 multi but none in the last 6 mths, 105 instrument, no turbine about 620 pic.
I was one of the lower time guys there and I was worried about my lack of recent multi time, but it proved to me that attitude is everything in the interviewing game. Just go in there confident but not cocky, be yourself, know your stuff and be genuine and you'll have a good shot of getting in. These guys are running a great company and they dont want people there who have an attitude.

Thanks aussie, good luck in class. I just applied online lastnight so I don't even know if I'll get an interview but i sure hope so.

Word on the line at XJT is that they have been busting a lot of guys in the training center because they couldn't cut it. They were hiring guys with too little time that just couldn't adapt to the jet. Know your flows and limitations BEFORE you go, and the firehose of knowledge won't seem to be running quite so hard.

at least there are only 6 memory items

Thanks for the heads up DJ, I'll definately be hitting the books hard before I get to the training center.
