So the 401k match will be 2.5% on the bottom rung? I thought this was a industry leading retirement package.

I think he means on top of the percentage we already get at XJ, which is employer match of 6%.

We get it FlySaabXJ. Your MEC is our savior. BEST MEC EVER!!! All hail Mesaba for getting us such a wonderful contract. Does that make you feel better?

Look, we at Pinnacle know that we are getting huge gains in a new contract. Nobody that I have talked to is arguing that. Problem with your post is that you have a lot of stuff in there that hasn't been agreed to yet. Retirement is an open section. Compensation is an open section. Insurance is an open section.

I'll edit it, if you can show me where I'm wrong. Only update from the JNC says that Section 25 (scheduling) is closed.

The first part of my post was obviously sarcasm. If you missed it, sorry. I'm just getting flat out tired of Mesaba pilots getting on here and telling me how much better I'll have it because they are now involved in this.

While that list is a definite improvement, compensation, vacation and insurance are still open. Big ticket items.

I'm hopeful we will have a TA soon. The company seems like they actually want to get this done. Show me the money !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A reserve day has always been 3.75. 30 day month, 20 days of work. 3.75x20=75. 75 hour guarantee. 31 day months it's a buy 20 get one free month for the company unless we get the 11 days off. Then I'm cool with it.

With vacation still open, I'm curious to see what the finals will be with that, including slide rules. Compensation still open, too. Health insurance, I know the premiums are gonna increase (being over a decade old, how could they NOT?), but the question is how much? Until those sections are closed, I won't be getting excited. That being said, I'm more optimistic than I was last week.
