Skywest orders 4 new CRJ-700's
|
How many more 70 seaters are allowed under the Delta scope?
|
Yeah....and this one seems to be flying under the radar, which is even bigger news.
Here come the Q400's - SkyWest orders four Bombardier Q400 NextGen turboprops - thestar.com |
The q thing has to be a misunderstanding on the 700 order?
|
Maybe the Australian airlines, also named Skywest?
Actually they are possible 700's for Skywest, Inc to be flown by SKW. Not sure if they are growth or replacements for several 200's which have timed out. I have reason to believe that this might not be a firm order (yet anyway). |

Bombardier's webiste has a press release about the 700's, NOTHING so far about the Q400's.

See above. If that were the case, you'd think that Bombardier would be pretty proud of finding a NEW customer for their Q's and putting out a press release on that as well. Whether it was the Australian Skywest airlines, or the U.S. SkyWest airlines. |
"This order re-affirms our complete confidence in Bombardier's CRJ regional jets," says SkyWest chairman and CEO Jerry Atkin in a statement.
