I'm not surprised. Everyday / hardworking americans...Both were no doubt stand-up guys (no pun intended) and they will be missed...

Sometimes bad things just happen to good people. There is no telling what went through their minds that morning. What happened, happened. There is nothing that they can do about their actions. It is unfortunate that their actions caused this unfortunate event. In life, there are many things that we learn the hard way. No matter how knowledgable you may be as a person, sometimes you have to step back and question your actions for what may be taking place in front of you. This is a lesson to all of us, keep your eyes and ears open, and always, always double check your work. i know that I am one who has made many mistakes in his life. Thankfully, everyday I learn something new that opens my eyes up and allows me to better my actions for the future. I pray that the families of all involved will find peace in their hearts, and I pray that therest us pilots will evaluate ourselves everyday and continually strive to be better at what we do. Don't get ahead of yourself and trust no one without verifying for yourself.

Good bless them all- the pilots, FA and passengers. This is certainly a reminder to me to remain vigilant at all times. Thanks for posting the links.
