The only airline that had 121 PIC requirement was Airtran. On the other hand, I know guys at SWA who went there from Ameriflight flying Metros.
Turbine PIC is all it's about at this point in your career if majors are your thing. |

Went from TPIC at a Willow Run Freight operation to NWA in '01 with 5000TT, 1200 TPIC - so it does, and can happen. I know a bunch of guys who came from the 135/corporate crowd directly to a major. I'm finding that they also want 121 or 135 currency as I'm having difficulty getting the phone to ring being out of this biz for so long, with 5000 TPIC I think that currency will work.

Stay where you are and upgrade. Pay off as much debt as you can.
