ASA DTW 700/900 Base Rumor
 

This rumor has started heating up with several people saying management has mentioned this. Apparently they are waiting on final numbers from DAL so that's why the position notice has been so delayed. It will be very interesting to see how the bids go with if much of our most senior aircraft's flying is transferred out of ATL

Also, a MEM -200 base is coming.

I dont think you guys will have a base in dtw. Pinnacle just displaced 100 guys out of mem and 50 out of msp to mainly dtw. I do however see you guys opening up a 700/900 base in mem. Which is unfortunate since the reason the mem guys are being displaced is because ASA is now doing the flying we were and our flying in dtw this summer is supposed to be "off the charts". But thats the delta way.

I have heard news of 700's at pinnacle. Does this have anything to do with dat?

I was told that's more of a speculation than a rumor.

SH was actually in recurrent the last few weeks stating DTW 700 is highly likely... announcement by spring if they do it, MEM not so much.

They will announce this within a couple of weeks. They are looking at approximately 30Ish crews. They are waiting on final numbers from Delta and trying to get Delta to pay for the crew/ops space for us like they have in Mem. The vacancy bid is tied into kdet and that's the reason for the delay on that as well. Look for around 15 upgrades.
