Midwest Flying

I heard rumors that EXPressjet is gonan be doing midwest flying anybody know if that is accurate?

I know you are new at XJT but thats one of the many many rumors floating around regarding the 69 aircraft. The running joke is if you haven't heard a good rumor lately, start one.

really, just relax people...in time we will know what will happen, till then it's just a guess.
you haven't even passed ground school yet, so this crap should be the last thing on your mind.

ground school

good point, however if I can get through ground training on a SAAB then I will have no problem with the erj

Good luck...you'll have to beat AWAC on a bid in their own backyard.

Here's to AWAC getting the contract. At about 600 TT and a job where I should have the mins. by spring im counting on big things for AWAC with them being my first choice.

With what cash?

XJT has 244.26M in total cash according to the last 10-Q, with 153.49M in debt. Compare that to Republic Airways Holdings, which has 162M in cash and 1.41B (as in billion  ) in debt...and Midwest Air Group, with only ~99M in cash and 47M in debt.

I wouldn't bank on XJT getting this flying any more than I would bet on AWAC getting this flying...but you've got to admit, CRJs currently in the desert are a helluva lot cheaper than XJT's new lease payments to CAL.

Just heard XJT for sure did NOT get this flying. I guess not being able to fly to EWR (cause of agreements with CAL) didnt help the deal. Good luck to AWAC.
