I'm in the same boat. I call the recruiting office every other day and I almost always get a voice mail box. I'm getting the feeling that there blowing me off.

Here's a hint, if it always goes to voice mail, they probably don't enjoy taking unnecessary phone calls. If they have not called you yet, then they're either not ready to talk to you, or they're not interested; but calling is not going to help your cause. Best of luck to you.

I've heard that we have stopped hiring, not sure how accurate that is.

Why's that? Just curious, I'm thinking about applying there soon. My three buddies I know working there all claim to love it.

Not that long, the longest one for just over a year I believe.

That's probably why they are still so happy about this job and company. It's probably still fun to be flying around in a (broken) jet.

Before you all start saying "well if its so bad then leave", don't worry I'm doing my best to get out of this company. Look at where Air Wisconsin rates on most cancellations, its pathetic. Countdown to 2015.

I agree with Compass, XJT, Mesaba, and Eagle hiring they are all better places to be than Air Wisconsin.

Forgive my ignorance. What's the difference between being paid "per hour" and "block hour"?

"Block" time is time between when the brake is released on departure, and set on arrival. You aren't paid until you push back from the gate.

Anyone have trouble attaching or updating Resume. I completed the application on website but can't upload the resume.

Pretty much all airlines pay like this so AWAC is not unusual in this regard.
