5hr energy, you'll need it to stay awake in class!

Don't do anything pre class other than memorizing airplane limitations and memory times. In the class itself don't skip tasks take it one hurdle at a time, and worry about what you can control that day rather than an oral or checkride that might be coming up, that's the best way of passing.

My best piece of advice -- don't get discouraged when this first gig turns out to be a terrible company to work for and you start questioning why you got into aviation to begin with. Believe me, I've often thought about giving up all together. Just hang in there and deal with it the best you can and know that there are better opportunities ahead. Get your time, get out, and move on as soon as you can.

It seems exciting to finally get a 121 job. I remember the feeling. The days of scrounging for hours are over. What sucks is you will eventually realize that even though you are done scrounging for hours, EVERYONE AND I MEAN EVERYONE around you still makes more money than you. Good luck to you.
