Swapping trips at ASA

Is anyone else having trouble swapping trips? Almost every single time, sked+ gives me the BS about reserve coverage. I can't swap any trips this month because of it. Same problem in previous months too. This is getting a little ridiculous. To the point I'm getting ticked off about it. Anyone got any tips on how I can beat the system and swap a trip or am I pretty much stuck with what I have? I'm based in IAD BTW. On 3 different days they have low reserves to the point I can't swap a few naps out for different naps? Gimme a break.

Are you switching naps on the same day, or are you trying to swap days also? I believe the reserve bid is still open so the reserve coverage is not loaded yet which makes swapping days basically impossible. I haven't had any luck swapping before the first of the month when it goes real time. Yes it is BS, hopefully you'll have better luck after the first of the month.

Swapping has been a crapshoot for a couple of years. The denial for reserve coverage is a joke, only because if you actually work out the formula that gets posted it doesn't make sense. I've worked the math 20+ times, and even went over it with the guy who invented it (DB). He admitted he couldn't figure it out either. Good Luck.

The reserve schedules have not been loaded into the system yet. We have our golden days but no soft days. Think the soft days get awarded tonight and then the reserves should have schedules. Just an educated guess....

Ah, didn't even think about reserve not being awarded yet. Thanks guys

ya... reserves don't know their schedule for the next month until the 27th of the preceding month. RIDICULOUS.

The 27th!!! What an efficient system we have here.....they should just award all the off days at once....
