SkyWest open house/job fair 5/12
 

SkyWest will be hosting a pilot job fair at the hanger in SLC on Thursday, May 12th at 9:00 a.m.



The job fair will be a meet and great setting, however, as time allows, we will be able to conduct a portion of the interview process that day to those who are prepared.

Yes, Please call. I have been in the system at Airline Apps for a while. Maybe you can help me get in the door. I will not be able to make it to SLC on the 12th.

Do you have any internal recs? They've been calling people within a week of submitting their app even without a rec. Double check and make sure your app is being published, skywest is a targeted airline and any addendum is filled out. If you PM me your contact info I can call and make sure they can pull up your app.

What if I have 12 internals but don't meet the mins?!?! ;)

I would say keep working to get the mins. There are plenty of qualified applicants out there right now. If you get the mins and you really do have 12 legitimate internals then your chances of getting an interview in my opinion are good.

i would probably wait till they start handing out signing bonuses probably coming soon

I had the mins and two internal recs but never got so much as a no thank you letter. No hard feelings though, that's just the breaks, and I'm happy where I am now.

I would love some help also..!! I have a interview with another regional on the first week of may but I really do not want to fly on the east coast. I put Skywest at the top of my list and I really would like to fly for them, Any insight on what I need to do to better my chances please let me know.
