Vision Air CRJ's?

I heard a rumor that Vision airlines are trading in all of their 328's for CRJ's? Any one have any info on that?

Well Comair is having a fire sale on CRJ's right now. Could be true. I am sure they could get them for a case of beer and a handshake.

Unless the Dorks are ridiculously unreliable or expensive to maintain...that would be an epically stupid decision.

From what I understand the dorks are hard to get parts for.

I totally agree and don't know where this rumor started. From what I hear from the maintenance guys, the 328s are pretty reliable and don't break very often. Getting CRJs would be a mistake IMO.

From what I understand the maintenance for the dorks is greater then the operating cost of the crj's

I wouldn't think so. The 328's are pretty reliable, and they are paid for. If you buy old crj's they will be close to needing heavy checks, which are expensive, which is why Comair is shrinking.

Ayo shawty, dem brahs need to hook demselves up wit sum EMBREAS!

Brazilian just kickd in yo....

I hope not. Even though it is an extra 15ish minutes, I would much rather ride the roomier Dornier prop than a soulless CRJ from SDF to ATL. Plus, those props hum me to sleep.
