I believe that mesaba does a good job with training and no matter what their safety record is very very good, couple close calls but nothing major. I think that is what a merger is all about taking the best of all companies. Pinnacle knows how to make a operation efficient mesaba can make it safer

the 15 new Q orders have NOTHING to do with a DEN base in 2012-2013. 9L is just sending everyone through mountain training for the one flight a day we will operate to MTJ in the summer only :)

No way jose! mountain training is to help us avoid the dump build up around Newark

Reps or anyone for that matter cant simply say that we have placed firm orders. We are a publicly traded company and people would lose their jobs (or more) over leaked information such as firming up 30 options. IF any options were exercised only a handful of PNCL Corp folks and a handful of Bombardier folks would know.

It would be hush hush until it was public.

How senior would a DEN base be?

usmc-sgt 05-11-2011 12:20 PM

How hypothetically senior would a hypothetical base that doesnt exist be?

Very senior, unless it went junior.

-usmc-sgt

do you fly for colgan/Mesaba?

usmc-sgt 05-11-2011 01:35 PM

I was hired by Colgan. Technically I no longer know who I actually work for.

To answer your question, I work for both of them.
