ASA Leaving MEM
I heard ASA was leaving MEM. Any word on this?
|
I love these "I heard" threads. I hear crazy stuff and rumors every day, but unless there is some sort official note in writing, there is no reason to get all excited about it. So what if ASA leaves MEM? Nothing the pilots can do about it. Its probably just part of the ongoing DCI shuffle....

A. Maybe part of the MEM reduction that was announced?
B. We dont have a crew base (we do have a mx base) there, so it really doesnt matter too much to the crews. However, that may mean no more BBQ for a while.....=( |
Yeah we're definitely leaving, that's why i'm an IAD based guy doing nothing but MEM turns half the time... I HEARD we're getting 777's as well to staff our Vietnam ops....Just sayin'

Why so angry? Just a question. Thought you ASA guys may know better than a non ASA guy. Easy guys.

I posted on another thread referencing an article discussing Delta Connection flying being greatly reduced in Memphis about 2 weeks ago. This would impact ASA in my opinion, though not specifically named yet as far as I know.

Don't we have a MEM - PHX flight starting next month?
Reduced flying, maybe. Out, not likely. |

Maybe because the title of your thread is misleading! It sounds like your are stating a fact and not just asking a questions. Just my opinion. |
