We will be voting for new union reps very soon, just make sure you do your research and vote for the ones you feel best represent your interests.

ALPA does not maintain PCL's or any other carriers seniority list. Its unfortunate that the list provided by management contained errors but that was not the fault of the PCL MEC or Merger Committee. To the best of our knowledge, the errors discovered throughout the certification process had all been rectified. You will not find any PCL pilots apologizing for errors made that were outside of our control.

Duplicate post...

Email? What email? I haven't received anything in two days. It would be nice to see this email you speak of. I guess there were no communication lessons learned after contract negotiations. If you are no longer our president how are you still privy to this information? I thought you were one of us now, on the line that is.

P.s. we should applaud this guy for posting. If this board is where we have to get our information then so be it. Your tone in the response verifies it as correct. The sad part is that we have to learn about it from a forum rather than our own union reps. That information is something we apparently weren't supposed to know about, but seems fairly substantial. You are our union reps, apparently there were no lessons learned from contract negotiations communication. Its still pathetic, two days and no word from our union.

Agreed 100%. Mesaba and Colgan even have facebook pages set up for updates. This is the first I've heard of the June 15 push-back, but the way Scott E posted about how the info was posted within 27 minutes makes it sound like it is true. Still, no word yet from our own union.

So, XJ and 9L can you help out a PCL guy? What's this about June 15?

Apparently, 9E MEC has requested that Bloch delay his release of the list until mid-June.

My guess is that PNCL has been waiting for SLI to put out a Captain vacancy and 9E MEC wants them to do it before SLI so that 9E guys get priority on those upgrades.

By delaying the award they hope to get this accomplished.

anthony210 05-25-2011 05:04 PM

Well I hope Bloch says no to that

I've asked my sources and been told that this is total BS.

False rumor.
