A/A Eagle jumpseat protocall?

Hi Guys,
I am not a commuter, and rarely J/S. However, I have need to do a MEM-DFW J/S next week, on Eagle. Is it a simple 'walk up to the gate agent' affair, or is there more to it these days? Much thanks.
Chuck

Don't forget you've got Delta running 3 flights a day down there (on Mesaba 900's I think).

I don't know about the gate agents in Mem but in Ord they will run your arse outta there if you don't call and list first.

You gotta call and list first with AA or Eagle. Do not show up without listing or you run the chance of getting a mean gate agent telling you to go pound sand and then your stuck.

We don't do MEM from DFW. That will be mainline.

Jump on Delta, just walk up to the agent and list. Make sure you bring your passport, that's a requirement with them even if you are staying domestic.

The MEM agents are really nice and would probably list you at the gate.

The DFW agents on the other hand are horrible and might even make you pay to list AE Gate Agent Arrested Over Fake Fee | NBC Dallas-Fort Worth:mad:

Just please check in with the crew if you get a seat in the back. For some reason the majority of DL pilots I've come across do not.

Thanks fellas. I was called into work yesterday (MEM based), had a few minutes, and approached the MEM A/A ticket counter and put this question to the gentleman tending the desk. He volunteered to list me on the J/S, asked for my ID, and he promptly listed me. Whole heartedly agree about the MEM A/A staff. Great group. I would stay on my own line (Delta), but we don't have a departure till about 9:30am. Eagle's is at 6:50am. Gets me in big D much earlier. I'll be driving back to MEM later in the day. I actually used to work for A/A (furloughed in 1994--or I'd probably still be there. Thoroughly enjoyed my 15 months there). Thanks for the input on this. I would not have even posted it, but didn't know I'd be called into work where I was able to get an answer for myself. The J/S is a very valuable asset we have as airline pilots--don't ever take it for granted (I don't), as it is, thankfully, Captain's prerogative. Always glad to extend it to a fellow pilot, always thankful for it. BTW, this flight (6:50am) is an RJ. I think A/A does a mix of RJs and '88s for the MEM-DFW route.
Cheers,
Chuck
